Kate
Today I read The Josefina Story Quilt with my 3.5-year-old. He loved it! He kept asking for specific chapters over and over (“the river,” “the robbers”). It’s about a girl on a wagon train west, with her pet chicken Josefina, who unexpectedly died in the last chapter. It was our first historical fiction (that I can remember.) He was sad and surprised that the hen died at the end. I guess it was bound to come up sometime in a book.

We haven’t read that one yet, but I just reserved it at the library. Sounds like a great story!
Judy
I was just wondering If you have reading book list made for the other letters B, D, J, P, R, S, and U?
Anna Geiger
No, Judy, not yet! I am HOPING to have our entire alphabet collection of book lists, crafts, math, and more done sometime this fall. Sorry for the wait!
